Baking for the Holidays…my absolute FAVORITE thing to do!! And honestly, it really doesn’t matter which Holiday, I just LOVE to bake! As you probably already know.
Last week I shared with you our fridge make-over, and how we are trying to make better choices with our food and the ingredients that I bake with. So when I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter contacted me about joining them in New York City and enter the Holiday Bake-Off…I was beyond EXCITED!!
Oh…the choices I had to make, I asked my blogging buddies on Skype, I talked to the boys and Doug about what to enter, and I narrowed down the choices to 3…Holiday Cupcakes, Cranberry Bread or Homemade Twix Bars…
While I love creating fun cupcakes to share, I just wasn’t sure I would be able to re-create them in the Unilever Test Kitchen like I would at home. And although my Cranberry Bread recipe is delicious, I wasn’t sure with the time limit I have, if I would have enough time to bake it. So, that left the Twix Bars, afterall…they are my #1 visited post…so I knew you all would LOVE them!
And because I love to share, and of course, I’m so excited about heading to New York City again, I decided to make a video for you, so that you can whip up a batch of these Homemade Twix Bars to add to your Holiday cookie platters.
GIVEAWAY CLOSED…Not only do I get to make a trip to New York City and bake…you get a chance at winning an AMAZING giveaway!! AND, it was customized special for my Homemade Twix Bar recipe!!

Bridget, Thanks so much for stopping by! Are you doing Drop in and Decorate this year? I bet you will have some amazing cookies to offer!
My goodness, those look amazing. I’m wondering if I could substitute graham crackers and not even have to go shopping!
Hi Erin…do you mean substitute graham crackers for the club crackers? Because there are graham crackers in the caramel mixture. I think you could, but they wouldn’t have the same flavor.
Thanks for stopping by, let me know how they turn out

Wow…it’s hard to narrow down holiday baking to just one item
. I love to create goodies for the holidays. I always make shortbread with Nutella on top and fudge. Although…those Twix bars look yummy…I’ll have to try those too.
