‘Tis the season for Holiday Baking and Cooking, and it’s always great to have a few simple twists to make your time in the kitchen a little easier! Food Network’s Chef Alex Guarnaschelli has teamed up with Fisher Nuts to share her recipes and tips for cooking with nuts.
I baked up a batch of Alex’s Almond Cookies, perfect for this Holiday season or really any holiday! The buttery cookie and the richness of the almonds makes them a perfect Holiday Cookie!
These Almond Cookies can be changed for any Holiday just by changing the cookie cutter, I used some of my Christmas shapes along with strawberry and peach jam. Head on over to Fisher Nuts for the Almond Cookie Recipe!
Alex’s tip for a quick and simple dessert…
- For a great addition to your holiday dessert table, melt some sugar in a pan until golden brown and stir in some nuts. Transfer the mixture to a baking sheet to cook and then break into pieces for a quick and simple nut brittle.
