Giving Back for the Holidays

One of the things I am most honored to be able to do is to give back this holiday season. Walmart has given us the opportunity to shop for items that we can donate to our favorite local charitable organization. One of our goals as parents is to instill in our sons that there are always families in need of help, and that it’s very important to share what has been given to us.

One of the benefits of blogging is receiving goodies in the mail, but sometimes they are items we can’t use {since our boys are all teenagers} but my readers really enjoy winning them. So, I have been saving them to donate, the holidays are the perfect time.

I rounded up the boys, Doug manned the camera and we headed to Walmart to see what we could find…

The boys were able to find some fun toys, we added the toys we had been saving and were able to donate quite a bit to our local Salvation Army.
