@nancy, Next time, if you don't have an apple corer to take out the center, you can use a straw depending on your filling or a small spoon. Cake is always good too. ~Liz

I was going to make the cupcakes w/the filling,but I could not find anything to take out the center, so I made a cake(I know not the same); however I made the icing and it turned out good for my first time.
I had some left over and wanted to try to save what was left if I could. I put it in a ziplock last night. Thanks for a quick response.

@nancy, Which cupcakes are you making? Filled? You can put filling and/or frosting in an airtight container and save it for a wk or so. Let me know if that answers your question. Thanks for visiting! ~Liz
