Welcome to another edition of Cupcake Tuesday! This week and next week I will be sharing some Thanksgiving Cupcakes with you.
While designing my cupcakes, I try to use items that can be found in most stores and also can easily be duplicated. I want my readers to have fun and be able to make the cupcakes that I share.
These cute little turkeys are sure to put a smile on all your family and friends faces when you share them at Thanksgiving Dinner.

Here is a step by step, so that you can easily create these cupcakes. I apoligize for the length of the post and the quality of the photos.
Bake your cupcakes, any flavor will do, frost them with a light brown or tan frosting

Then mound some frosting over half of the cupcake

Insert Swedish Fish candy into the cupcake to resemble feathers

For the head, use a large marshmallow, and cut a little off

For the beak, insert a piece of candy corn into the marshmallow

Attach the head to the cupcake using a toothpick to secure it, be sure you tell people that there are toothpicks in the cupcakes
Cover marshmallow with frosting, I used a darker brown

Cut waddle from a red fruit-roll-up

Attach waddle under beak and add the eyes, I used mini chocolate chips

They are almost too cute to eat

Now it’s your turn! Please share your cupcake or muffin recipe! For the guidelines, you can visit Cupcake Tuesday. Be sure to link back to this post and visit some (or all) of the other participants.

Awww! They really are super cute little turkeys. I look forward to my little one being older so we can attempt some of these sweet cooking projects together.
