One of my favorite things to get at the fair, and of course, really bad for you, is Cotton Candy. And since this week is our County Fair, I came up with a Cotton Candy Cupcake for you today.
First, I need to apoligize, have you ever had one of those days? I just couldn’t seem to bake very well today. And the pictures of the cupcakes didn’t turn out very well either. But, the idea is good and they tasted great.
After hunting all over for Cotton Candy flavoring, we ended up with Tutti Frutti Flavoring and Blue Raspberry Snow Cone flavoring.

I started with a plain white cupcake, divided the batter in half and flavored each of them.
We used quite a bit of the Blue Raspberry Flavoring, next time I will try and find something better. And Tutti Frutti flavored the batter fine, but it did take almost both bottles for the cupcakes to be flavored enough.

I frosted some with pink and some with blue frosting. I tried to fill my decorating bag with both colors, but, like I told you before, it didn’t really work out this time.
Then I decorated some with Cotton Candy Pop Rocks and some with Rock Candy.
