Graham Crackers Logs.fixed.4

Beginning today, I will be posting my favorite Christmas Cookie recipes for 12 Days. And on December 13th, I will host a Blog Carnival for all of you to share your recipes.

In our family, we have several Holiday traditions, and like most families, Cookies are toward the top of the list.  However, the Cookies that I bake are not fancy, but tried and true family recipes.

Today, I thought I would start the series with a recipe that my Mother-In-Law baked for many, many years. And according to my husband, it just wasn’t Christmas without them.

  1. Do you think these would be good without the nuts? We’re not a very nutty family. Well, we are … but not the kind you consume 😉

    1. @karen, Yes, I think they would be fine. Maybe add a few more chips instead, you could even mix the chips, white and chocolate. Thanks for visiting!

  4. My mom makes a similar bar — she adds coconut! We like to make these when we travel since they travel really well, and get all warm and gooey when they sit in the car in the summer… delicious. I think I’d like this version even more because of the addition of vanilla. Thanks.
