@nancy, The chocolate in these cookies is not bitter at all. I always buy milk chocolate chips, because I like those better too. But you can't even tell there is unsweetened chocolate in these. Thanks for visiting! ~Liz

I just found your blog and it looks really good.
I have a question about the Unsweetened Chocolate , does it have a bitter taste to it?
I am not a fan of semi-sweet choc. because of the bitter taste it leaves.
