Today I am breaking open my recipe binder and sharing this Cherry Fluff Recipe with you. Many, many years ago, my Mom used to make this dessert salad just about every time we had a special occasion. When I came across this recipe while browsing through my home management binder, I just knew that I had to share with you. It immediately brought back memories of my childhood.

I don’t think there was a family reunion that went by that this Cherry Fluff didn’t make an appearance. Do you remember the long tables full of bowl after bowl of family favorite recipes? Grandma, Aunts, Cousins, everyone would always bring their favorites.

This is the perfect recipe for you to share with your family too! The recipe goes a long way, and it has only 5 ingredients.

Pink Fluff Recipe

The star of this dessert salad recipe is Cherry Pie Filling, my favorite – who doesn’t love cherries? Then crushed pineapple and sweetened condensed milk gives the fluff even more flavor. Whipped topping is folded in, then a little crunch from chopped pecans. You can certainly leave out the pecans if you need to though.

By using Pie Filling, we can create simple yet impressive desserts for our family and friends. Last month I shared Raspberry Whoopie Pies that are to die for! Really, you must try them!

  1. So yummy! A family favor, only thing we do differently is drain the pineapple. De lish!!!
    Happy Thanksgiving.

  2. This is a go to for holiday potlucks at work, church, or family gatherings, but we’ve always called it pink fluff. Everyone always comments on how good it is and then requests it which is great since it’s so simple to make! The only thing we do differently is to drain the crushed pineapple and try to get out as much liquid as possible. Maybe one day I’ll try it without draining.

    1. Thanks Lori! I couldn’t agree more! We love it here too!
      Merry Christmas!

  7. My mom made a pie we called Angel pie. I have looked all over but nothing I’ve found seems right. I think it might have been a 70s thing, possibly on the cool whip lid. Does this ring any bells?
