Oh how I love Cinnamon Rolls…buttery, warm and slathered with icing! And then there are Doughnuts…filled, plain, glazed, frosted…I pretty much love them all! Pair the two and what do we have…Cinnamon Roll Doughnuts…yes please!

I’ve shared my love for the new Duncan Hines Frosting Creations with you before, the Orange Creamsicle Push Pops were oh so good, and the Mini Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes with Bubble Gum Frosting were definitely a hit. So when it came time to create a very special Mother’s Day Treat, I knew exactly what to use!

With just a few ingredients, these Cinnamon Roll Doughnuts are easy enough for Dad and the kiddos to bake! Let me show you…

The Doughnuts start with a cake mix {you all know I love that} with the addition of eggs, milk and butter the batter is smooth and creamy. Then you add the Frosting Creations Cinnamon Roll flavor packet for a big burst of delicious cinnamon.

After the Doughnuts are baked and cooled, they take a little dip in melted butter and another burst of cinnamon and sugar. A drizzle of Frosting Creations Cinnamon Roll sends these little babies over the top with perfect flavor!

Don’t have a doughnut pan? No worries…you can easily bake these in a mini muffin pan for about 7-8 minutes.

One of my absolute favorite things about the nice weather in Spring and Summer is having a Picnic! There is just something about firing up the grill, cooking up dinner, adding a couple side dishes and enjoying a relaxing evening catching up on the days events with the family, that create memories. Last weekend was the perfect opportunity for some family time, while we enjoyed Grilled Butterflied Chicken with Smokehouse Tradition Beans and Grilled Potato Salad.

Over the years I have served baked beans…many and many times. You know the kind…empty the can into the pot and add a bunch of brown sugar, ketchup and maybe mustard. The kind my Mom used to serve!

Well…not anymore my friends…there’s a new kid on the block and he’s pretty amazing!! Bush’s Beans are serving up their new Grillin’ Beans and we had the opportunity to give them a try! In fact…we will be sharing recipes with you over the next few months that are a perfect match with Bush’s Grillin’ Beans!

There are seven new Bush’s Grillin’ Beans…Black Bean Fiesta, Sweet Mesquite, Southern Pit Barbecue, Bourbon and Brown Sugar, Steakhouse Recipe, Texas Ranchero and the Smokehouse Tradition that we served with the Grilled Butterflied Chicken and Grilled Potato Salad.

We love beans and these Smokehouse Tradition Grillin’ Beans were definitely a hit! They are tender beans simmered in a sweet and smoky sauce, with a bold flavor that I’m sure you will love too!

Grilling a whole chicken can sometimes be intimidating, but it’s actually not difficult at all and the flavors are amazing. First you will need to butterfly the chicken, Doug shows you the step-by-step process and how to prepare your chicken for the grill.

Cooking a whole butterflied chicken on the grill, not only speeds up the amount of grilling time, it also adds a lot of flavor because you can season the bird on the inside as well as out.

Are you a traveler? If you have ever flown on Delta Airlines, you may have had the Biscoff Cookies, the name given to the traditional Speculoos biscuits in North America. It’s derived from the combination of words Biscuit and Coffee, simply because their caramel flavor and crisp texture make these cookies the perfect accompaniment to a cup of coffee or espresso drink.

What’s the next best thing to Biscoff Cookies? Well…Biscoff Spread of course! As part of the Walmart Moms program, I recently received some of the new Biscoff Spread, an European alternative to Peanut Butter, to taste and share a recipe with you. I went on the hunt for a recipe and found lots to choose from over at Biscoff, including this Biscoff Banana Milk Shake.

I created this short video for you…

Biscoff Cookies are baked using the original recipe created in 1932. They are made with all natural ingredients, using no artificial colors or preservatives. They are vegan and contain 0 grams trans fat and 0 cholesterol per serving. All Biscoff cookies are baked in Lembeke, Belgium by Lotus Bakeries, and are now available at Walmart as well as the Biscoff Spread.

Biscoff Spread is made with original Biscoff Cookies {57% for Creamy version, 65% for Crunchy version}. It has a creamy and smooth structure with consistency of peanut butter. The Spread contains no artificial colors or preservatives, 0 grams of cholesterol and 0 grams of trans fat per serving and it is free of nuts! Produced in a facility where no other products containing nuts are produced or handled. Making it a good alternative to those with nut allergies!

I’ve been having some fun playing with my food! As a busy Mom, I’m not only looking for delicious recipes, but ways to serve them that my boys will eat. The Clare Crespo Cookbook; A Very Veggie World is full of fun, whimsical, step-by-step recipes that families are sure to love like this Asparagus Bouquet.

With just a few simple ingredients, including Country Crock, you can make this Asparagus Bouquet that is not only pretty, but tasty too! Here’s what I used…

Did you know that Asparagus is an ancient vegetable that is a good source of vitamins A and C? Our family loves Asparagus fixed many different ways…grilled, in stir-fry and simply sauteed with Country Crock.

And then serving it displayed like a flower bouquet is just fun!

Happy Saturday friends! April really snuck up on me! So, I’m sharing some ideas for April Fool’s Day Dinner from last year. I’ve changed the recipe format so you can easily save to your recipe box and print out. Have fun!!

You probably know by now…I LOVE to create fun food!! Because I’m a Mom, a wife and a foodie {food blogger}, holidays are always tons of fun! April Fool’s Day is no exception!

I have been tricking my family on April Fool’s Day for lots of years, but not in a bad way, just with fun food. I’ve made several faux cupcakes for April Fool’s Day and last year I shared dinner ideas.

This year I decided that I needed to “up my game” a bit, so I created some new ideas for you, and a couple returning ideas from last year.

You first saw the Nuggets & Fries on cupcakes, now they are making their debut for dinner.

Does your family love Deviled Eggs? I know mine does…they are sure to be fooled by these.

Can you tell which ones are real eggs?

These Sushi are also sure to be hit! They are very quick, easy and only take 2 ingredients.

And finally making a come back from last year, because we can’t have all sweets for our April Fool’s Day Dinner. Snakes and Bugs…

I think your family is going to be totally fooled by this dinner. Don’t you? How about a cupcake to go with your fun April Fool’s Day Dinner?

Maybe some Snowcones…

And don’t miss my other fun April Fool’s Day Cupcakes!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!

Sadly we are at the end of our 17 days of St. Patrick’s Day Food and Fun! I hope you have enjoyed it! We are finishing up with a quick treat, that you can easily still pull together today…Irish Jello Shots…the non-alcoholic kind, but if you are interested, here is a Jello Shot {with alcohol} Recipe.

Everyone loves jello right? Inspired by the Rainbow Jello I made last year, I created some fun Irish Jello, with the colors of the flag and put them in plastic shot glasses.

Aren’t they fun? The kiddos {and adults} are sure to love them! And if you are serving adults, making them with alcohol is always a hit too. We have made them before with alcohol, and those that drink, love them.

But for today…we are keeping it kid friendly and less expensive.

What else are you serving today? I thought I’d do a round up of a few {or more} ideas for St. Patrick’s Day Food…
