I’ve shared with you several times about my visit to the Betty Crocker Kitchens. Last Fall, I shared these Brownie Goody Bars over at The Family Dish. They were such a hit over there, I just had to share them with you too!
Casey helped me make these…and eat them!
Brownie Goody Bar recipe on HoosierHomemade.com, adapted from Betty Crocker.

- 1 container vanilla frosting or homemade
- 2 cups crisp rice cereal
- 2/3 cup Peanut Butter
- 1 1/3 chocolate chips (I like Milk Chocolate)
Instructions
- Bake brownies and let cool.
- In a microwave safe bowl, add the chocolate chips and Peanut Butter
- Heat for about 2 minutes until slightly melted, stir until all the chocolate chips are melted
- Add chocolate mixture to cereal, stir until all combined.
- Frost the brownies.
- Spread cereal mixture over frosted brownies.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour until set.
- Cut into bars.

I super love your post! I’m drooling right now. hehe
Thanks for sharing the recipe, i’d try to do this.
These look really easy but so delicious! I’d definitely make the frosting from scratch but I think that is worth a few minutes of extra work.

I bookmarked these yummy brownie bars. I like using brownie mixes too, and my kids prefer them over homemade. Great recipe!

Hello
I have been a cake decorator, baker, florist and all around party planner for MANY MANY years now, way too many to say, and I’m new to your site. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE IT !! I haven’t had time to look thru a lot of it yet (Boy you have tons of info)but I love what I’ve seen so far.
I remember back in the day my mom used to make bundt cakes. They were delicious and they always had some kind of filling in the middle. Nowadays you can’t find any recipe for those bundt cakes.
I had an idea for St. Patrick’s day for a cake but don’t know how to make it.
I would love to make a white cake with an Irish Cream filling in the middle. A filling like the kind in the middle of a Hostess cupcake, smooth & creamy. Is this possible ?? Do you or anyone have a recipe for something like this ??
Thanks Cinde
oh my hecka!! these look deeeelish!!
