Cinco de Mayo, the Spanish fifth of May celebration, is coming up, and I couldn’t let this fun holiday pass by without sharing some of my favorite Cinco de Mayo Desserts. Fried Ice Cream, which really isn’t fried, is always a favorite. And Tres Leches Berry Dessert which is equally delicious. And we can’t forget the Cinco de Mayo Cupcakes – some with Chocolate Chili Poppers that the kids will love to help make and Margarita Cupcakes too!
Home improvement is a never ending process, especially the yard and landscaping. There always seems to be something added to the to-do list. Recently we started a Curb Side Appeal project, that began as a weekend project, and quickly became a little longer. Today we are sharing the first of the landscape plantings in our problem landscape with shade plants.
After our long Winter, we are all looking forward to the Spring Flowers, Grass, Trees, Warm Weather and yes even the Bugs. These Spring Flower Cupcakes are a celebration of what Spring has to offer. The flowers, lady bug and bumblebee are made with Candy Clay, a fondant like product that is easy to make, work with and taste really good.
