I made some and used frozen apple juice concentrate instead of sugar and it turned out beautifully. I think next time I'll cook it longer and make it a little thicker. Also - I didn't peel my apples and the skins cooked down and pureed beautifully. You can't tell they're in there at all. I love apple butter!!
