Today I’m going to share with you my love for Aldi Grocery Store. Here are some of the great deals that I got.
Shopping Trip #1
I will just highlight a few items to give you an idea of the savings that you can have by shopping at Aldi.
Salsa (24 oz) $1.49
Ketchup (32 oz) $1.15
Tortilla Chips $.99
Eggs $.79
Peanut Butter $1.39
Milk $1.89
My total for this shopping trip was $55.68 (37 items)
I usually don’t make 2 trips in a week, but we were really, really low on pantry items, and with the boys out of school in just 9 days, I wanted to stock up a little.
Highlights from my second trip:
Yogurt $.43
Tomato Sauce $.25
Tomato Paste $.39
Diced Tomatoes $.49
Fruit Salad $.89
Elbow Macaroni $1.69
Cream of Chicken Soup $.49
Green Beans/Corn $.49
Strawberries $.99 (special this week)
Total for this trip $56.59 (63 items)

I tried to shop at Aldi when I lived in downtown Chicago and it was a bit scary so I avoided it for years. But I recently went to my local one and was so surprised at how nice it was and what quality the food was. I need to get back there!!

I’m an Aldi fan from shopping at one when we used to live in NC. Unfortunately, there are none where we are now, so I have to live vicariously through those who can get the great deals there!
Our Aldi just raised the milk to $1.99, still much less than at the Wam-mart next door, it is $3.39 over there. I buy my chocolate baking chips, powdered sugar, oatmeal, etc there. I love Aldi’s.
