A Better World on Facebook

I have something totally different for you today…a Facebook game. I’m not really much of a “gamer”, I usually leave that up to my boys but when I was asked to review this game…I thought I would give it a shot.

A Better World is a community based game format where you can interact with other players if you choose or just explore by yourself. I found that I spent alot of time wandering around the various locales and checking out the numerous shops and activities. My favorite game/activity is the Threecycle game, it reminds me of Bejeweled. This was really fun and it serves a purpose, when you match like items you earn points that you can then use to buy items for your virtual self (clothes, shoes, etc.) and house (furniture, flooring).

Now I did say this is a community based game so let me get to that. One of the features is that you can invite others to join and you can also make new friends by interacting with the other people that are online while you are playing. What a great way to spread some cheer.

There is also a place where you can post what you are grateful for, this is so pertinent right now at the end of the year, like alot of people I like to reflect on the past year and plan for next year.

All in all this was a fun game that once the non-gamer in me got the hang off it was easy and relaxing and can provide an occassional diversion from the daily grind.

Join Hoosier Homemade on Facebook if you haven’t already. And be sure to check out A Better World too!
