My mother-in-law used to make a delicious chocolate zucchini cake that we all loved. She passed away a few years ago, and I definitely want to try this. It would be great to recreate some wonderful memories!

@linda, I suppose you could cut back a little, it's not a sweet cake at all though. The zucchini absorbs the sugar. Thanks for stopping by! ~Liz

This seems like a lot of sugar…can it be cut back to a cup+ a little more?

Strangely enough, I’ve lost my favorite chocolate zucchini cake recipe too. I’ll have to try this one, it sure sounds like a winner!
